This weekend was the Regional at Competitive Edge MX. We drove in Friday to get some practice and pulled in the driveway as the first practice left the gate. We finished all the paperwork and got Jack on the track for the second and last practice. They changed the track from the last qualifier and Jack rode right by the portion where he was supposed to cut off... With that said (he did it twice) Jack pretty much missed the second practice. Come Saturday he had one more morning practice left before they started the three moto day. He did ok this practice but never found his confidence. This is the deepest wettest track he has ever rode, while whether conditions were ideal, the track was not forgiving for the PW's, any straying from the main race line and they were STUCK! Jack rode well in his first moto to a 3rd, then a 2nd in the second moto. Ten feet out of the gate in the third moto he fell over in a deep rut and his buddy Ricky nailed and got stuck in the gate putting them in a tie for dead last. They both got up and charged through the field, Jack ending up 2nd again putting him in a solid 2nd for the day. We had a great race and are very proud of him.
